The 8 Week Challenge will taking place on the LK Fitness App, giving you daily workouts and tips designed to help you transform your body. The exercise plans – developed by Linda Kriel – are divided into three fitness levels, guiding you with short videos. It also comes with 3 healthy meal plans to choose from, developed by our dietician, Anel Kirsten.
When is the Registration Date?
Between 27 Jan – 2 Feb 2025
- Exclusively for women aged 18 and above.
- Kindly note that the prizes are exclusively available for participants residing in South Africa and are not eligible for exchange, transfer, or redemption for cash or alternative rewards. Individuals from other countries are welcome to participate, however, it’s important to understand that if they emerge as winners, the prizes can only be redeemed within South Africa.
- Prizes must be claimed at our office within 4 months after the winners are announced on April 4.
When does the 8 Week Transformation Challenge 2025 start?
- The competition runs on the LK Fitness App from 3 February to 28 March 2025. The winners will be announced on 4 April 2025 at 12:00 on the Linda Kriel Fitness Facebook page.
HOW TO ENTER:
STEP 1: You need an active subscription to the LK Fitness App. CLICK HERE TO GET THE APP.
STEP 2: Share one of our LK Fitness Posts on Facebook or Instagram. And Tag 3 of your friends in the comments on Facebook or Instagram to challenge them to join you.
Step 3: Email us at info@lkfitness.co.za with your details:
- Your name and surname.
- Your age.
- Your email address that you use for your LK Fitness App subscription.
- Your phone number.
- Lastly, please tell us your story in 50-100 words. WHY do you want to enter? What would transforming your body mean to you? We would love to hear from you!
STEP 4:
- Take your “BEFORE” Photos between 27 Jan and 2 Feb. SCROLL DOWN TO FIND OUT HOW TO TAKE YOUR PHOTOS. Save these Before Photos and don’t submit them until the challenge ends. Only submit your Before and After images together at the end of the challenge.
BEFORE AND AFTER PHOTOS:
You will need to capture 3 BEFORE photos between 27 Jan – 2 Feb, and 3 AFTER photos between 24 and 28 March. Scroll down for example photos.
- 1 x Full length photo from the front.
- 1 x Full length photo from the side.
- 1 x Half body photo holding a cellphone with that day’s date visible. You should wear the same outfit as in your other two photos.
- Email us all your 6 photos (3 BEFORE and 3 AFTER) at the end of the challenge to info@lkfitness.co.za.
WHEN TAKING YOUR PICTURES:
- Full body front
- Full body side
- Half body “Proof of Date” Picture: Hold up a cellphone showing that day’s date, as proof that the challenge was completed in the right time frame.

Google “Today’s date” and display it on your cellphone. (If you are unsure whether you have done it correctly, you can email us a sample photo between 27 Jan – 2 Feb, and we will let you know if it’s acceptable). Email: info@lkfitness.co.za.

TO COMPLETE THE CHALLENGE:
- Send an email to info@lkfitness.co.za between 24th and 28th March with the following:
- Your Name and Surname.
- Your email address. (The one you use for your LK Fitness App subscription.)
- The 6 good quality photos of yourself. (3 BEFORE, and 3 AFTER).
- A short paragraph of your experience. Ideally between 50-100 words. (Tips: If you have lost kilograms or centimetres you are welcome to state this in your paragraph; How do you feel? How did you find the LK Fitness App?)
What is provided when I enter?
To participate in the challenge, a subscription to the LK Fitness App is required. While the challenge spans 8 weeks, our goal is for you to sustain your commitment to exercise and healthy eating beyond the challenge period.
On the app you will get:
- Eating plans. Choice between:
- Low GI
- Keto/Banting
- Mediterranean
- Free articles/tips to help you on your journey
- Detox plan
- Easy to follow recipes
- Daily exercises
- Access to the private Facebook group for LK Fitness App users – motivation from like-minded women.
Can I change my eating plan during the challenge?
- Yes, you can change between the 3 meal plans available on the app, during the challenge. Read more about the change/swap on your LK Fitness App under FAQ’s in your Profile.
Do I have to WhatsApp/Email my results every week?
- No – You only have to submit your before and after photos at the end of the challenge. Only your final photos will be compared with your initial entry, before the winner will be announced. (Please also review “To complete the challenge” above.)
How do I log my photos?
- Email your photos – info@lkfitness.co.za.
- It is important to know that this challenge is about body transformation and NOT just weight loss. We are looking for changes in your shape, muscle definition, and weight/fat loss.

What happens to my results/photos that I share?
- All information of participants will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed unless permission is asked and granted. However, LK Fitness has the right to the use of the photos and stories on their journey, of the top 10 finalists of the challenge for marketing purposes. LK Fitness will be the sole interpreter of the rules and may change it in the interest of the competition and/or whenever fairness requires.
What is the cost of participating in the 8 Week Transformation Challenge?
- For participation in the 8 Week Transformation Challenge, there are no registration fees. However, an active LK Fitness App subscription is required (any subscription).
