Day 12 – CHALLENGE | Three Planks for a Strong Core

Welcome to Day 12 of our Challenge! 

Today’s exercise is all about building a strong core, which will help firm up your middle section, build ab muscles, and increase the support in your body allowing you do other exercises better and with more stability. Planking and core exercises will definitely help you get a firmer tummy, just remember that firm abs underneath a thick layer of fat will remain invisible – so it’s important that you eat right and do cardio as well to help remove the fat layer. After all, you want your great abs to be seen! 

Planking is a quick exercise that you can do anywhere, you can even do it while watching Netflix or in the kitchen while you wait for the kettle to boil. Grab a mat, find a comfy spot in front of the TV, and let’s get started!

  • ELEVATED CLIMBERS

Beginner: 30 seconds

Intermediate: 45 seconds

Advanced: 1 minute

  • CROSSOVER ELEVATED CLIMBERS

Beginner: 30 seconds 

Intermediate: 45 seconds

Advanced: 1 minute

  • SINGLE ARM PLANK

Beginner: 15 seconds each arm

Intermediate: 20 seconds each arm

Advanced: 40 seconds each arm
