Day 34 | BT Challenge 2025 – Tabata

Day 34 – Challenge | Tabata

Tabata training works in 20 seconds intervals of high intensity training, followed by 10 seconds of rest. Tabata is a form of high intensity interval training (HIIT), that acts as an excellent catalyst for fat burning.

With today’s Tabata workout, we will do a lot of jumping which will keep your heart rate elevated. Beginners, and those of you who have knee, back or ankle problems, just follow me. The rest can follow Armin in the video.

Advantages of a High Intensity session:

It increases the body’s demand for oxygen resulting in more oxygen being taken in during the slowdown periods than it would if all the exercises were less intense. This after-burn effect is why you burn more fat than during a long, calmer cardio session. You save a lot of time. Due to the intervals being so short your exercise session is shorter.

On today’s 4 minute workout video:

  • No equipment needed
  • 8 Exercises
  • Fast pace for 20 seconds
  • Rest for 10 seconds
  • I suggest you watch the video first to be prepared
  • If you have done today’s app exercises, do this once
  • If you don’t have time for the app exercises (which I hope not), do the video twice or 3 times, depending on your fitness level

Have fun!
