How fit should I be for the hikes?
You should be capable of walking between 10 and 17 km in a day. On most days, our hikes last around 3 hours. It’s essential to be comfortable with walking uphill and downhill.
For highly fit individuals, Linda may offer additional exercises along the route while waiting for others to catch up. However, participating in these extra exercises is entirely optional and up to you.
What’s the average age of the group?

We have mixed ages in our groups. The youngest we’ve had was 17 and the oldest 70 (but she was a very fit 70). If you’re older than 65 it is advisable to send us a doctors approval letter before the start of the walk. The biggest percentage falls in the age category of 35 to 58.

Can I pay the amount in monthly instalments?

A deposit of 50 % is required which you can pay in two monthly payments. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the start of the hike. You are welcome to pay the balance monthly, as long as the full amount is paid 8 weeks prior to start of the hike.

What happens if I have to cancel my trip?

Cancellation policy:

  •   If you must cancel your reservation, your cancellation fee will be determined according to the policy outlined below.
  •   Exceptions to our cancellation policy cannot be made for any reason, including natural disasters, terrorism, civil unrest or personal emergencies. There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early. Percentage charges are calculated on total trip cost.
  •   Adventures with Linda Kriel is forced to pay cancellation fees for bookings of hotels and services that have been booked on your behalf.
