EXERCISES

No need to buy equipment. Very little equipment is needed for some programs. You can use everyday items in your home such as water bottles for weights.

WEEKLY PROGRAMMES INCLUDE

HIIT workouts

Burn lots of calories in a short amount of time and increase your metabolism with short bursts of intense exercise alternated by recovery. Between 8 and 35 minutes, depending on which level you choose.

Indoor cardio workouts

Keep your heart rate in the fat burning zone, and improve your fitness and cardiovascular health. Between 10 and 40 minutes, depending on which level you choose.

Circuit training

Combine cardio and strength training exercises for a full-body workout, keeping the heart rate elevated for cardiovascular benefit, whilst toning the muscles. Between 10 and 40 minutes, depending on which level you choose.

Toning workouts

Tone muscles while reducing body fat. Focus on areas like the abs, buttocks, thighs, hips, inner thighs, and arms. Between 13 and 30 minutes, depending on which level you choose.

Stretching

Increase flexibility and exercise-related injury. Decrease muscle stiffness. Reduce muscular tension and enhance muscular relaxation. On Sundays, we usually give one or two stretching routines. You can do those anytime during the week after your workout.

 

Follow the team’s effective programs which include cardio, toning and HIIT (high-intensity interval training) for increased metabolism. If you consistently follow these programs, you’ll see the results you’ve always hoped for!

HEALTHY DIET PLANS

Choose one that suits your lifestyle and see if it works for you. If one doesn’t suit you, you can change to another one or simply follow your own diet approved by your dietitian/nutritionist.

The menus and recipes are very easy to follow with no expensive and exotic ingredients. We suggest you start off with the one-day detox plan for optimal results!

A television fitness presenter, fitness and weight-loss expert and author and co-author of many books, Linda has helped thousands of women reach and maintain their health goals.

Boasting a vast experience in managing a variety of diseases requiring nutritional treatment, Anel is a Dietitian based in Paarl, South Africa, and has been in private practice for 15 years.

“My time in private practice has provided me with special skills to treat and manage weight loss, insulin resistance and problems associated with metabolic syndrome. Women’s Health is another special interest of mine.”

Dr Adriaan is a fellow of the Royal College of Anesthetists. As a doctor and peri-operative physician, he is consulted on all medical questions that our members have. A former tri-athlete, he is very knowledgeable in the field of fitness and nutrition. He is married to Linda Kriel, and also accompanies Linda on all LK Fitness walking tours.

Health, fitness, and sports enthusiast Zander is currently finishing his Master’s research in Economics at Stellenbosch University. He is mainly focused on male strength and conditioning, and believes that training intensity (and HIIT) is an imperative factor in training and maintaining. He competes in running and ultra-trail running events; most recently placing 5th at the UTCT Special Edition 50km Ultra-Marathon.

A medical doctor, medical entrepreneur, and crossfit enthusiast, Dr Maxine Smit demonstrates the intermediate to advanced level programs. She’s currently at University of Oxford completing a MSc in Translational Health Sciences.

A filmmaker and ultra-endurance athlete, Armin is passionate about all-things-art and all-things-fitness. After obtaining a BCom in Financial Management at Stellenbosch, he switched over to his great passion, filmmaking. He recently completed and premiered his first first feature length documentary film, The Path of Most Resistance – The Story of the Cape 253 Ultra Triathlon. In 2022, he completed his first Ironman as well as the Ultra Trail Cape Town 100 Mile Race.
