Cream cheese balls
This is quick, easy and yummie! If you are in a hurry this takes only 5 minutes to prepare. Enjoy these balls as a lunch with guacamole (smashed avo) or a salad on our Banting eating plan.
Serving size
Serves: 12-14 balls.
Ingredients:
- 230g cream cheese – room temperature
- 100g sliced cured meat – biltong, chopped
- 8 peppadews
- 4 spring onions, chopped
- 8 walnuts
Directions:
- In a mixing bowl add the cream cheese and mash with a fork to a manageable thickness.
- Chop the biltong and peppadews into small pieces and add to cream cheese. Mix well with a fork.
- Chop the walnuts and spring onions and add to a separate plate.
- Use your hands to roll 12-14 small balls with the cream cheese mixture.
- Roll each ball in the spring onion and walnut mixture.
