Cream cheese balls

This is quick, easy and yummie! If you are in a hurry this takes only 5 minutes to prepare. Enjoy these balls as a lunch with guacamole (smashed avo) or a salad on our Banting eating plan.  

Serving size

Serves: 12-14 balls.

Ingredients:
  • 230g cream cheese – room temperature
  • 100g sliced cured meat – biltong, chopped
  • 8 peppadews
  • 4 spring onions, chopped
  • 8 walnuts
Directions:
  1. In a mixing bowl add the cream cheese and mash with a fork to a manageable thickness.
  2. Chop the biltong and peppadews into small pieces and add to cream cheese. Mix well with a fork.
  3. Chop the walnuts and spring onions and add to a separate plate. 
  4. Use your hands to roll 12-14 small balls with the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Roll each ball in the spring onion and walnut mixture.
