Lurinda’s Story
“I am 47 years old and have gone through a health ‘dip.’ My thyroid was underactive, resulting in hormone imbalances and low cortisol levels, along with low iron levels. I had no energy to follow an exercise program. My health improved to such an extent in 2023 with homeopathic medicine that I decided to take on the LK Fitness 8-week challenge on the app in January 2024.
I challenged myself and enrolled. I followed the low G.I. eating plan along with daily exercise and extra challenges. My goal was to strengthen and define my muscles. The exercises became more enjoyable for me because there is a variety of exercises, from Blitz programs for busy days to long cardio sessions for fat burn. The comprehensive exercise and eating plans are so convenient, all under one roof on the LK Fitness App. By week 6 of the challenge, I did experience a setback and considered throwing in the towel. I had to have a serious talk with myself, telling myself to ‘stay in your lane,’ not to compare my progress with others. That was my turning point and motivation. From the beginning of the challenge, I told myself that I am doing this for myself, and if I win, the prizes will just be a BIG bonus! My muffin-top disappeared!
